hello, nice to meet you

I am Alexandrea Belle, your desert moon doula!

In my spare time I am an artist and a poet (ask me about placenta art keepsakes and original art affirmation cards!) I enjoy learning about the benefits of herbs and their application. I love the earth and moon and everything they offer us from remedies to the simple pleasure of observing and enjoying them. I am most passionate about birth work and holding space for women to trust their minds and bodies. My goal is to offer knowledge and peace and enlighten mothers of the power with which they are divinely endowed in order to have the birth experience they dream of.

Prenatal Visits
Include getting to know one another, going over your birth preferences and emotional needs, confronting and overcoming fears, partner support, practicing comfort measures and breath work. We will make sure you and your partner are confident in making fully informed decisions for your birth based on current evidence. 2 visits in the comfort of your home or trusted environment of your choice.

Labor & Birth Support
I am on call and prepared to meet you in your birth space from 38-42 weeks. I will offer gentle encouragement, emotional support and physical comfort measures and hold space for your story to unfold all while advocating for your birth choices. I plan on continuous support 1-2 hrs post birth but am happy to extend as needed until your new family feels comfortable and settled.

Postpartum Visits
I offer 2 postpartum visits that can include birth processing, light massage, preparation and serving mother with a special postpartum nourishing drink. I make sure to educate mom and dad on postpartum mental health and making sure you have access to further support recourses ie: mental health support, lactation consultants, community.

Art and Postpartum Gifts
I offer these additional services as add ons. These can also be purchased separately at any time and make fabulous shower gifts.
